Rosie's Shower!

I feel like I have nothing new to say, but I hate leaving my last post on spit for too long.
My daughter, Sarah, orchestrated another amazing gala event; the most delicious baby shower ever- done like an afternoon High- tea. I am so excited that Rosie's Baby shower could be this special- and Rosie could be so blessed. Homemade scones complete with clotted cream and various jellies, sausages wrapped in croissants, fruit tarts, chicken cashew salad, various other salads, all kinds of teas, great coffee- and we haven't even got to dessert yet! She had clotheslines of baby clothes hung, and bouquets of flowers. People were laughing over the very creative games and bonding with family and new friends. I love those games that make people who didn't know each other before end up seeking each other out to say goodbye afterwards!!
I'm telling you, Sarah should be a party planner!
Rosie's shower was a beautiful event, a great party. And my thanks go out to my family, especially my great sisters and Mom! I love you all!
When my peeps get me the pics I'll add a couple to this post. !
okay- my peeps haven't come through yet, so here's a stolen picture from Sarah's blog:

I guess I did have something to say-a major thing to be thankful for! It is such a great tradition- to help a new family get started on raising a child, to bring moral support, to rejoice with mommy and much needed gifts. To welcome the gift of God into the world in such a way!
And I am very grateful that Rosie was sooo blessed, that it all went so well, and for the bounteous generosity to my new granddaughter. God bless baby Selah!
